Now with IoT, WSN and M2M a complexity arises. Robots, Drones, Automobiles and Machines have wireless connectivity with an IP address or a Phone Number. All this is possible when we think of technologies more like Wi-Fi and WiMax merging with mobile-cellular systems. We have to abandon the Towers and go for Modular Daisy Chain of Repeaters on Street Poles and Fiber Optic Nodes. Maybe like these folks say LightRadio Antenna Module
ETSI - European Telecommunications Standards - ETSI produces globally-applicable standards for Information and Communications Technologies (ICT). Includes - Fixed, mobile, radio, converged, broadcast and internet technologies.
ITU-T - Infocommunications Standards - "ITU-T Recommendations are defining elements in information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure. Whether we exchange voice, data or video messages, communications cannot take place without standards linking the sender and the receiver. See " Telecommunication Standardization Bureau" TSB
CDG - 3G Wireless CDMA Development - "The CDMA Development Group (CDG), founded in December 1993, is an international consortium of companies who have joined together to lead the adoption and evolution of 3G CDMA wireless systems around the world." See also CDMA Technology
3GPP - Mobile Broadband Standard - "The original scope of 3GPP was to produce Technical Specifications and Technical Reports for a 3G Mobile System based on evolved GSM core networks …" Global System for Mobile communication (GSM), GPRS and EDGE.

Bluetooth Technology - Uniting the Devices
"The Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) is formed with five companies." 1998 AD
On your phone - With Bluetooth technology your phone can do more than you realize.
"Bluetooth technology also uses radio waves. The biggest difference between Bluetooth technology and devices like FM radios and TV is distance. Radios and TV are meant to broadcast to many people over miles or kilometers. Bluetooth technology sends information within your own personal space, which is called your..."

NAND Flash Interface and ONFi
ONFI's parameter page provides the controller with all of the device's relevant capabilities for quicker design, qualification, and testing.
ONFI's industry-standard BGA package accommodates both asynchronous and source-synchronous interfaces.
Higher Speeds At 400 MB/s, ONFI is the fastest NAND interface standard on the planet. These high speeds are made possible by the bidirectional source-synchronous DQS and scalable I/O interface.
ONFI 3 Announced in March of 2011
Promotes a high-speed NAND Flash interface supporting transfer rates up to 400 MB/s - requires fewer chip enable pins enabling more efficient PCB routing - designed for the future and supports the EZ-NAND interface

Modbus Communication Protocol Suite
Some Activities of the Modbus Organization are ...to Encourage, support and evolve ...
- Participation in standards activities worldwide.
- Leading the evolution of the Modbus protocol and its variants.
- Modbus across a broad spectrum of physical layers and transmission media.
- Conformance testing program to insure greater interoperability of Modbus devices.
Modbus Protocol is a messaging structure developed by Modicon (Schneider Electric) in 1979. It is used to establish master-slave/client-server communication between intelligent devices. It is a de facto standard, truly open and the most widely used network protocol in the industrial manufacturing environment.
The semiconductor industry has implemented a Network Communication Standard and an Object Messaging Protocol using Modbus TCP/IP. This allows SEMI Sensor Bus compatible sensors to communicate with each other using Modbus TCP/IP.
The mMINT (Modbus Master INCOM Network Translator) Module is an Eaton accessory product that will provide communication between a Modbus RTU network and an INCOM network.
The mMINT module is a slave device on the Modbus network and as such requires a master that will exchange register objects with the mMINT module. 32 products can be connected to INCOM network port (246 unique addresses maximum).

CE marking - Enterprise and Industry
The CE marking (also known as CE mark) is a mandatory conformity mark on many products placed on the single market in the European Economic Area (EEA).
CE - Conformite Europeenne - Safety Standards
CE marking signifies that the product conforms with all EC directives that apply to it. For example, most electrical products must comply with the Low Voltage Directive and the EMC Directive; electrical toys must also comply with the Toy Safety Directive.
CE - European Economic Area - EEA - Safety mark
"It is the manufacturer’s responsibility to carry out the con- formity assessment, to set up the technical file, to issue the EC declaration of conformity and to affix CE marking on a product. Distributors must verify the presence of both the CE marking and the necessary supporting documentation. If the product is being imported from a third country, the importer has to verify that the manufacturer outside the EU has undertaken the necessary steps and that the documentation is available upon request."
